Welcome to Queensland’s new home of cyber security

Robert Champion

I am pleased to announce the launch of Queensland’s cyber security hub. Here you will find relevant and targeted information on cyber security topics for a range of audiences including individuals, businesses and government.

Cyber security is a topic that now frequently appears in the news and social media and is affecting users at a global scale.

Reliance on technology has never been higher. It’s critical for government to deliver services to Queenslanders, and in our daily lives, technology supports us working, shopping, and staying in contact with family and friends. With this reliance comes new and sophisticated cyber threats—the scale and size of which continues to grow and evolve.

It's vital we bring cyber security to the forefront of public awareness and empower people with the knowledge to be more vigilant and cyber secure. This hub funnels information from a myriad of existing sources to deliver a seamless place for all Queenslanders to uplift knowledge and find relevant information on cyber security.

Through identifying your relevant audience, you will find:

  • helpful information if you’ve experienced a cybercrime
  • cyber security resources for individuals and for families
  • information to help keep your business cyber secure
  • links to cyber content for Queensland government entities
  • cyber-related news, events, case studies and user stories.

I encourage you to explore the new site and share the link with colleagues, family, and friends as we support each other to gain the knowledge we need to be more cyber secure.
